Data Subject Application Form and General Information

Personal data subjects (“ Relevant Person ”) have the right to apply to SETTA TEKSTİL SANAYİ VE TİCARET ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (“Company”), the data controller, to exercise their rights specified under Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“ KVKK ”). The rights of the Relevant Person in question are as follows:

To learn whether your personal data is being processed,

  • Requesting information about it if it has been processed,
  • To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
  • Knowing the third parties to whom the data was transferred, either domestically or abroad,
  • To request correction of personal data if it is processed incompletely or incorrectly,
  • Request the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in the KVKK,
  • Request notification of the actions taken in accordance with your above-mentioned rights of correction, deletion and destruction to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
  • To object to any adverse results arising from the analysis of your processed personal data exclusively by automated systems,
  • To request compensation for your damages in case you suffer damages due to the processing of your personal data in violation of the relevant legislation.
  1. Explanations Regarding the Application Method

In order for our Company to respond to applications submitted by Data Subjects under Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law, the application procedure must comply with the provisions of the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Applications to the Data Controller (" Communiqué "). Our Company has prepared this application form to facilitate applications in accordance with the procedure prescribed by the legislation. It is important to note that, in accordance with Article 4, Paragraph 2 of the Communiqué, Data Subjects may exercise this right provided that they submit their applications in Turkish.

Data Subjects may submit their applications to the Company via the following methods:

  • Apply in person,
  • Through a notary,
  • By signing with a secure electronic signature or mobile signature and sending an e-mail to the Company's registered e-mail address,
  • By sending an e-mail from your e-mail address that has been previously notified to our company and registered in the system.

**Relevant Persons applying via "Written Application" are required to submit documents verifying their identity. In this context, for in-person written applications to Merkez Mah. Üsküdar Cad. No: 57 Çekmeköy/İstanbul, we kindly request that only the front side of the ID photocopy (without displaying blood type and religion) be submitted along with the application form.

  1. Response to Your Applications by the Company

 

The Company always reserves the right to request additional information and documents to prove your identity in order to prevent your personal data from being shared unlawfully with third parties and to ensure the security of your personal data.

Data subject requests will be finalized by the Company in accordance with Article 13/2 of the KVKK as soon as possible and within 30 (thirty) days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request.
